DRUID CITY ARTS AWARD: MUSICIAN OF THE YEAR 2011
To recognize those dedicated to the art world in Tuscaloosa County, the Arts and Humanities Council of Tuscaloosa has named the winners of the 19th Druid Arts Awards.

The awards honor those who work as an artist, volunteer or educator twice a year, taking nominations from the public. Recognition is given in the music, visual arts, dance, literature and theater categories. Special honors for the Patron of the Arts, Corporate Sponsor and Tuscaloosa’s “Home Grown” were also awarded, along with a few other special awards.

The “Home Grown” award was created for a Tuscaloosa-native who has been recognized in their field on a national or international level.
